Jacques was one of the greatest explorers through history.
Jacques Marquette was born june 10th 1637 in Laon,France. When he was seventeen, he joined the society
of jesus so he could be ready to discover the world. He worked and taught in France for several years. After he did that the jersuits assigned him to a state called Quebec in the year 1666 and a missionary to the Indigeous peoples of America.
He also went to Huron where he showed great proficiency in learning the local languages. In the year 1673 Jacques Marquette was joined by Louis Jolliet a French Candian explorer. On May 17th they moved from Ignace with two canoes and and five voyageur of the French Indians ancestry and they are now recognized as the ethnic group of Metis.
Jacques was one of the ones to visit Lake Michigan, Huron, and spain.He was an explorer who loved to explore the world and to be like his father Pe're Marquette. He taught alot of people and countries so that he can discover and learn alot fo things from them. Jacques was one of the ones who cared about people and their feelings because he helped them out and he didn't have to be that person for them, he did that because he wanted to be prepared and confident about going to other cities and knowing what to do. When it finally became spring, Jacques traveled westwardand while he was there he celebrated the public mass at a place called the village Illnois near a place called Star Rock. Jacques father painted an oil picture in the year 1838 at a school called Marquette University.
Jacques expierenced life when he was young because when he was about seventeen, he really didn't know alot about traveling. Now that he's all grown up he traveled acrossed the world and he discovered alot of things and he went to a lot of places that he never went too.He went to Huron,Lake Michigan. Chicago, Arkansas, and plenty of other countries and cities he went to all around the world. Jacqes taught alot of people things like be who you want to be when you grow up, chase your dreams and if you want to be all over the world and being abled to discover alot of things in life.Jacques journey was amazing for him because he went on a lot of trips and he traveled some places that you could think of.
Jacques inspires me because even when he was young and he went to Quebec to teach our people he got out and he believe in his dreams and his self and he wanted to be like his father, going around and discovering the world and painting pictures from one of the schools called Marquette.He's an awesome man because he tauht me stuff as I was reading the story about him. He inspires me to be creative and accomplish anything because what he did for many people I learned to be creative and believe.
when he beginned to go to a town called St. Ignace he died at an young age around 38 years old. But, before he died he wrote a poem about his father Pe're Marquette.After his dealth people still remembered him because of his pictures and his faith being around people and the cities and countries that he explored. People still guide him and learned everything he taught them.
